The “Angie B.” brand name is a nod to my grandfather, who was the only person to ever call me “Angie”. It stuck—and now it carries the legacy of love, creativity, and purpose into every part of my work.

I’m a Dallas-Fort Worth-based headshot and personal branding photographer, helping professionals, graduates, and creatives step into their next chapter with clarity, confidence, and presence.

As a former school leader turned entrepreneur, I’ve spent years helping people discover who they are and how to show up in the world. Now, I use photography as a tool for personal branding—capturing images that do more than look good. They position you.

Turned a hobby into a profession—and never looked back. Photography started as something I did for fun—capturing portraits of family, students, and friends. But the more I practiced, the more I knew: this was bigger than a hobby. I began investing in my skills, learning the craft, and started charging for my services. Angie B. Photography was officially born.

2023

Opened my first creative space: a selfie studio! I launched a fun, vibrant selfie studio that gave people a chance to create memories. But I quickly realized I didn’t enjoy the event rental side. What truly lit me up was the artistry behind the camera. I didn’t want to just provide a space—I wanted to create the images myself.

2022

Left the principal’s office to follow my passion. After years of leading schools and supporting students, I stepped away from the pressures of campus leadership to take a central office role—and finally give myself space to breathe. That decision opened the door to explore a part of me I had long ignored: my creativity.

2021

Still in education. Still mentoring. Still evolving. By day, I support campuses through my central office role. But through Angie B. Photography, I’ve expanded my reach—mentoring students on personal branding and working with corporate professionals, creatives, and organizations to elevate their presence through strong visual storytelling. Whether it’s a senior planning for the future or a CEO updating their brand—I help people show up with intention and confidence.

In 2024, I also shifted from senior-only sessions to a headshot and branding niche. While I still love working with seniors and helping them prepare for life after high school, I felt called to serve professionals and creatives who wanted more than just a headshot—they wanted personal branding with power. That’s where I planted my flag and built a strong, elevated niche.

Opened BLK IVRY Studio in Mansfield, TX. In 2024, I transformed my creative dream into reality. I closed the selfie studio and launched BLK IVRY Studio—a full-service photography space complete with a client lounge, makeup area, dressing room, and a variety of backdrops and props. It became the home for everything Angie B. Photography stands for.
